Accounts and login
Do I need an OTP every time I log in? No. You verify your phone with a one-time code only when you first sign up. After that you log in with your phone number and password. Adding a recovery email lets you reset your password without any SMS.
I'm changing my phone number. You can update it from settings; you'll verify the new number once.
Users
Why can't I approve a worker yet? You can only approve a worker after a price has been agreed in chat. Send or accept a price proposal first.
Can I see the worker's exact location? Only their approximate distance before a job. Precise live tracking starts when the worker heads to you and stops when they arrive.
How do I get help during a job? Use the SOS button on the active-job screen, and you can share a read-only tracking link with family.
Workers
Why am I not receiving jobs? You need to be approved, have an active subscription, be On duty, and have a work area that covers the job location for the matching trade. Check each of these.
A job says "already taken." Another worker locked it first. Respond faster to alerts to win more jobs.
Where do I pay for my subscription? Only on the Fix24 web portal. The app shows your plan and usage read-only.
Notifications and location
Alerts aren't arriving. Make sure you're on duty, notifications are enabled for Fix24 in your device settings, and (for full-screen alerts) your plan and Android permissions allow them.
My distance shows "serves your area" instead of a live distance. Live distance appears only when a worker is on duty and has consented to share it, and the reading is recent.
Payments
Does Fix24 handle the job payment? No. You pay the worker directly for the agreed amount. Fix24 only records the figure and only charges workers for subscriptions.
