Booking a worker
1. Set your location
Open the app and pick where you need the work done. You can choose a saved address (Home, Office, and so on), drop a pin on the map, use your current GPS location, or search for a locality. Adjust the search radius to widen or narrow your results.
2. Find a worker
Choose the type of work (for example, Plumber or Electrician). Fix24 shows verified, available workers whose service area covers your location, ranked by a blend of rating, jobs completed, responsiveness, distance, and reliability. You can re-sort by rating, jobs completed, or distance now.
Each result shows the worker's rating, number of completed jobs, a distance label, and badges (for example, a Verified badge for Aadhaar-verified, admin-approved workers). Tap a worker to see their full profile and reviews.
3. Request the job
Send a job request either to a specific worker you picked or to all matching workers nearby (whoever responds first can take it). Add a short description and photos so the worker understands the task.
4. Agree a price in chat
When a worker responds, a chat opens. Discuss the work and exchange price proposal cards. A price is only "agreed" once one side accepts the other's proposal. You can only approve a worker after a price is agreed.
5. Approve and confirm
After you approve, the price and scope are locked. The worker confirms, and you can optionally schedule a time. From there you can track them to your door.
Fix24 does not collect the job payment. You pay the worker directly for the agreed amount; Fix24 records the figure for your reference only.
