Reviews and ratings
Leaving a review
After you confirm a completed job, you can leave one review for that job. You rate the work overall (1–5 stars) and across several dimensions — punctuality, professionalism, skill and quality, value for money, communication, and cleanliness — plus optional written feedback and photos, and whether you'd hire the worker again.
You can review only jobs you booked, only after you confirm completion, and only within the review window (a limited number of days after the job).
How ratings are calculated
A worker's headline rating uses a Bayesian average, which blends their reviews with a baseline so that a brand-new worker with a single 5-star review doesn't outrank an experienced worker with hundreds of reviews. Ratings update once a review is approved.
Keeping reviews trustworthy
Every review is checked by an automated fraud pipeline and then published only after moderation. The checks look for signals such as self-reviews, reviews from a phone or device linked to the worker, implausibly fast or bursty reviews, duplicate text, and unusual reviewer activity. Reviews that look genuine are published; suspicious ones are flagged for a human to review, and clear abuse is rejected. This keeps the ratings you rely on honest.
