Tracking your job

Job statuses

A job moves through clear stages, and the app shows the current one:

  • Broadcast — your request is out to workers.
  • Locked — a worker responded; chat is open to agree scope and price.
  • Approved → Confirmed — you approved and the worker confirmed.
  • Scheduled — a time was agreed by both sides.
  • On the way → Arrived → In progress — the worker is travelling, then working.
  • Completed — the worker marked the job done (with a proof photo).
  • Confirmed by you → Closed — you confirmed the finished work.

"How far away now"

Before a job, results can show a worker's approximate live distance ("2.3 km away now") when the worker is on duty and has consented to share it. You always see an approximate distance and a fuzzed map area — never a worker's exact location — until a job is confirmed and the worker starts heading over.

Live location on the way

When the worker taps Start, they begin sharing their live location for that job only. You'll see them move on the map with an estimated arrival. Tracking stops automatically when they arrive or the job ends — Fix24 keeps no location history.

Sharing with family

From an active job you can create a read-only share link so a family member can follow the job details and tracking. The link expires when the job closes.
